The American Polytechnic of Nigeria (APN) will officially resume for the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, 29th September, 2025, as announced by the Registrar.
In a related development, the Governing Council has approved the appointment of Engr. Dr. Idowu Jiboku as Rector and Mr. Scott Simeon as Registrar, marking a new chapter in the institution’s leadership.
According to the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. Oludare Akande (OON), this decision reflects APN’s commitment to academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and the continued growth of the Polytechnic. Dr. Akande stated that Dr. Jiboku has, to his credit, the experience and tenacity required to drive the institution towards achieving its set goals. Mr. Simeon, on the other hand, possesses administrative prowess that is second to none. The Chairman further reiterated that Mr. Simeon will bring to the table years of international administrative experience that will help automate processes at APN.
Dr. Akande congratulated the duo, wishing them a successful tenure marked by a high level of productivity.
Students and staff are encouraged to prepare for a productive academic year as the institution sets its sights on innovative progress and higher achievements.
